Caleb's Horseback Riding Field Trip

Caleb and his K-4 class got to go ride a horse at Adix Horse Training Center in Derby, KS. He did great it was his first time riding a real full size horse (as opposed to the ponies at Watson Park). I got to ride too! It would definitely take me a couple of lessons before I felt comfortable being in charge of a horse.

This is Stormy the daughter of the horse training people on her horse. She is only 7 yrs old and is real good on her horse for only being in 1st grade! She's a cute little girl and Caleb informed me that he has a crush on her. He said she has cute pony tail, a cute nose and he likes her cute smile!

Gabrielle Grace is here! She was born March 24, 2009 at 2:48pm. She weighed 8lbs 5 oz. and was 20 inches long. She is such a wonderful little bundle of joy.

Why I was amazed...

These pictures are of Hannah's hair almost 1 year apart. The one on top is November 2007 and the one on bottom is December 2008. I was really surprised how much it grew in 1 year. I guess maybe because it seems like a babies first year of life it takes a long time to grow.

And here is a bonus video of Hannah a year ago also. The first part is Hannah and the new cat....Oh my! And the next part of the video is Hannah being really silly. But I put it on there because it shows how bow-legged/pigeon-toed she really was. Crazy! I'm glad she grew out of it. I just couldn't believe it was only a year ago that she was that bow-legged
